Today we will be reviewing the
XCM Bestilt 360. I would like to thank
Extreme-Mods.com
for providing this kit for our review.
The Bestilt 360 is a controller mod for the Xbox 360 Wireless
Controller that gives you "tilt-sensing" capabilities while
playing games.
Let's find out what the kit includes:
1pc Xbox 360 Controller Screwdriver Tool
1pc Instructions
1pc Bestilt 360 Unit / Back Shell
Take note that the Bestilt Unit consists of a small chip mounted
on the inside of a back shell replacement. Make sure you order
the correct color for your controller... unless you want to look
like a zebra.
Features:
· 5-Wires to Solder
· On/Off Switch located under Battery Cover
· Molded plastic controller backing.
Here is the location of the On/Off Switch:
The Bestilt 360 requires the soldering of 5 wires before it will
work correctly. Make sure you have a soldering iron and some
solder ready to install them with. We have a
Full
Installation Video if you need instructions for the
installation.
Here's a Demonstration Video of the XCM Bestilt 360 in action
(sorry no HD):
As you can see in the video, you turn the controller left and
your vehicle turns left. You turn your controller to the right
and your vehicle turns right. You can also tilt the controller
forward and backward to go up and down. This is really only
useful in flight games or while browsing through menus.
Conclusion:
The XCM Bestilt 360 is a very cool and interesting mod for the
xbox enthusiast. It can add alot of new aspects to your favorite
racing or flying games. The only problem we have with it is the
fact that the battery has to be removed to switch the unit on or
off. For the money, the Bestilt is a fairly cheap mod that is
easy to use.
