With this tool you can create WAD channels that will auto boot games on a wbfs hdd. Excuse the ugly code (Specially the loaders), I mainly did it for myself so it don't have to be pretty If you have a wii iso and want to create a usb channel from it, just select the iso in "Input iso:" and select where to save it in "Output wad:", then click Go. If you have trouble with some hdds or the "Swap trick" works in the default loader, you can try to install ios222 and use yal.dol. 1.2: 1.1: 1.0: |

Bushing has recently posted an update for the world of HackMii. He talks a little about how "Marcan" left the team, but the real good news is about BootMii. Apparently, they will be releasing a Beta version pretty soon. Check out the screentshot of the sweet GUI below.

"Yes, BootMii is still alive; I still can’t promise a release date, but most of the code has been written and we’re now to the point of testing it out and adding some polish. It’s been installed on about 12 Wiis so far and nobody’s been bricked; I hope that we can release a “public beta” within the next couple of weeks. (In this case, “public beta” will mean “we’ve tested this out quite a bit and are fairly confident that you won’t regret trying it, but not everything is finished and we can’t make too many promises). I would expect those of you who have older Wiis (i.e. those who have a vulnerable boot1) to have an easier time installing it, but we intend to eventually add support for as many of your Wiis as possible."

WesternDS is a homebrew shooting game from DS dev Herkules. The objective here is to shoot all the little people that pop up on-screen.
There are three weapons available as well as two different gameplay modes: Kills, where you need to kill a given number of enemies, and Timerace, where you have to kill as many enemies as you can within a given time.
The touchscreen is used to aim, while the L and R buttons can be used to shoot. If you run out of ammo, pressing X or Up will reload your gun.

We've just done a review for the XCM Xbox 360 Replacement Case. This is a really cool case for your 360 so check it out. Once again I would like to thank Extreme-Mods.com for providing this kit for our review.
Marcan has posted some new information regarding the new boot1 found on newer wii's that prevents the use of BootMii. He also compares BootMii with the alternative Preloader which is very similar.
Quote:
"At first, BootMii will not be compatible with those Wiis. A modified boot2 will not run on them, period. However, there is a way of accomplishing some of BootMii’s goals on those Wiis, by installing BootMii as the System Menu’s IOS, or as an entirely separate IOS, for example. There are pros and cons to these options, and they’re not as good as installing BootMii as boot2, but they are possibilities worth exploring. We won’t support them when BootMii first comes out (lest we delay it even further), but one or more of them might come in the future."
Using cheat codes on the Nintendo Wii has been made even easier thanks to linus' Code Downloader. This app lets you download Wiird .txt files from the Wiird code database
to your SD card.
It even goes a step further by renaming the downloaded codes to match the games they're for. In order to use the codes, though, you first have to convert them to the .gct format using WiiCM or CheatManager.
Here's the very short changelog for Code Downloader v1.1:
- Removed colons (:) from file names. All games should work now.
The M3 Team have FINALLY released the latest version of their Sakura firmware for the M3DS. They have also updated the standard "Touchpod" firmware to version 4.2e. This new release of the Sakura firmware will also allow you to boot the Touchpod firmware as well. Homebrew support has been improved slightly, but this is actually considered a beta release so there are still a few bugs.
